I think I forgot to mention it, but I got a real job and I start that on Monday so I'll be able to chip in for a BC2 server and VoIP server if we decide to get either one.

Haven't used it. I wonder if it is better than Vent?

Not sure how I missed it, but TS3 is out now. Gorko and I were talking about renting a VoIP server, has anyone used TS3 yet?

I will pick my copy up this weekend and get it installed. Hope we can set up a time to get together and game some.

I haven't even picked up BC2 yet. I will try and get it this weekend if I can find it. Or get it from steam. Wed or Thurs is good for me also. I am still around just been real busy.

Okay, I'll try to make myself available on Wed and Thu for BC2. We don't HAVE to get a server right away if we can find one or two we want to frequent. Perhaps some of the BF2142 guys we know will have one up. Then, when we all come into a little cash we can rent a box.

If I had to pick, Wednesday and Thursday are probably better days.

I'm basically in the same shoes as Gorko. I *might* have a "real" job using my degree soon, but not yet. Until then, finances are limited for me too.

As for playtime, pretty much any day of the week is ok for me - just need a bit of planning so I'm not involved in some dungeon run or something in WAR.

I certainly won't be opposed to getting a server for BC2. My only concern is I'm super broke these days so I wouldn't be able to contribute much.

To clarify - a gaming server for FPS to recruit some more folks to fill out the squad.

I agree about setting a time and running a squad. I got bored when I was playing because everyone just running around. It also increased my anxiety so much I had to take an extra pill! What is the best night/time to game? I'm open. I've been working on my BF2 mod 24/7 lately so I can put it behind me (I'm making it for my 2 sons - I thought it might be kind of cool and retro for them when they are ready in a couple of years).

We need to coordinate on a time to play this. We can use my WAR alliance's Ventrilo server. I'm semi-terrible at fps games now, but it would be fun with a squad I think.

Well, I hope to play tomorrow. I have some errands to run in the morning and then I plan on gaming the rest of the day. I'm impressed so far. If this is an example of what we might get out of BF3 - I'm stoked. I do like to use vehicles and the balance is really in favor of the infantry combat in BC2.

Okay, BFBC2 is a must-have game. It feels like a PC game and not a port and is something like a hybrid of BF and CoD4. Stupid DICE and their love of chokepoints got me pwned my first time out. Really, you guys have got to get this. We could really be rockin and rollin again! Steam rules!
